Iphone 4 Price in Nigeria and Where to buy – Apple iPhone was released by Apple Inc. in June 2010 as a later version of the iPhone 3. It also have another version called iPhone 4s. It runs on iOS 4 which can be upgraded to a higher version. It weighs 137 grams at a thickness of 9.3mm. As with other iPhones, it does not have an external memory card nor does it supports it. It is to be noted that this version is no more in production.

It features a body of dimension of 115.2 by 58.6 by 9.3mm. The body is made of glass both at the front and at the back while it is framed with aluminum. The glass is scratch resistant. The phone weighs 137 grams which makes it very light to handle. The case comes in just two colours, black and white. The colours can be seen below the glass body both at the front and at the back.
The phone features 3.5 retina inches screen display size which is approximately 54 percent screen to body ratio. It is packed with a resolution of 640 by 960 pixels at 330 pixels per inch density which makes the display impressive (iPhones in general have this special characteristics). The screen is bright and can be seen in almost all conditions. It supports Multitouch and it is protected by corning gorilla glass with oleophobic coating. The screen is light emitting diode backlit IPS liquid crystal display, capacitive touchscreen which display 16 million colours. It has a contrast ratio of 1241:1 nominal and 2.016:1 sunlight. The screen of this phone is very okay and the representation is very sharp, the only down side to this is the small screen size.
It uses one micro SIM that support both 2G and 3G network. It supports UTMS / HSDPA 850/ 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 MHz band on 3.5G. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot. It features a Bluetooth 2.1 (which does not pair with regular phones and has issues with other iPhone users), A-GPS and iPhone USB 2.0 port. It doesn’t support FM radio.
One peculiar thing about iPhone storage is that it doesn’t have external storage. To cater for this feature, apple than make various internal memory sizes for their phones. IPhone 4 is not an exception since it comes in 4 different memory sizes, 8 GB / 16 GB and 32 GB which is the basic for the variation in the price.
Under the iPhone 4 hood is a cortex A8 that runs at a speed of 1 GHz. It comes with an iOS operating platform which can be upgraded to 7.1.2. It might seem small for contemporary phones but it is enough for thus phone because it is mostly used for utilities and not for a very heavy use.
At the multimedia level, iPhone 4 has a 5 mega pixel camera at the rear and a VGA camera. The primary camera features f/28, 1/3.2”, and 1.75 µm with autofocus, light emitting diode flash geo tagging, touch focus and HDR photo capture. The back camera captures videos at 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. The secondary camera captures 480 pixels at 30 frames per second which is suitable for video calling even though you can only do this over Wi-Fi only.
It possess a 3.5 mm audio jack port, a loudspeaker and it features vibration and proprietary ringtones as it alert types. The audio jack has dedicated mic and is capable of active noise cancelation. The loud speaker can go as high as 66 decibels while ringing, voice at 65 dB noise at 60 dB. It has an audio quality of noise at -90.1 dB and crosstalk -89.6 dB.
Other features of iPhone 4 are sensors which are accelerometer, gyro meter, proximity sensor and compass. It features on messaging platform iMessage, threaded view of short message service, multimedia message service, e-mail and push mails. It supports hypertext markup language 5 (safari) browser. The video player supports MP$ and h.264 player only and the audio also supports MP3 and WAV player only. You can view documents with its document viewer and you have access to the iCloud cloud service to back up or link you to your other devices.
IPhone 4 has a non-removable Li-Po battery with a capacity of 1420 mAh. It has a stand by time of up to 300 hours either on 2G or 3G. Its talk time is limited to 14 hour on 2G and just 7 hours on 3G and it can play music up to 40 hours. IPhones is are not made for battery since inception so this battery is still manageable compared to its predecessors.
Taking a look at the iPhone 4 externally, the phone features the ear speaker positioned equidistant from the border and the display screen, and the left and right bother. The VGA front camera is at the left of the speaker. Home button (which is depressed and a square box in it, and serve as return button and wakeup button) is placed at down part of the screen so as to mirror the ear speaker. The display screen is positions in the middle with a thin border on the sides and broad boarder at the top and bottom. On the left hand side of the phone, the volume button is placed (two round buttons). The power / lock button is placed at the right side of the top the phone and the 3.5 mm audio jack is placed on the left hand mirroring the power button. At the middle of the bottom is the iPhone USB port for charging and data transfer between compactible devices. On the back, the camera is placed at the top left corner with the flash just beside it. The apple logo is places a little above the center and iPhone is written a little bellow the center too.
This device is neither available on Jumia nor on Konga as the phone is no longer being produced. It cost around #80,000 to #124,000 at production date depending on memory (it is around #20,000 cheaper than its predecessor). Apart from the exorbitant price, battery and compatibility issues with other device and iOS applications and files the phone is quite a good phone.
