In this article I will be focusing more on the XS Max. The iPhone XS Max succeeds and improves on the now cancelled iPhone X majorly in terms of processing speed and battery life.

First announced in September 2018 along with the iPhone XR, the XS Max became the first “plus sized” iPhone. It has a slightly bigger screen than the X and is significantly wider than the now discontinued iPhone 8. With a weight of 208g, the iPhone XS Max is heavier than its predecessor by about 15g. It is covered with gorilla glass which itself speaks to Apple’s efforts to make this device durable. It originally comes with the iOS 12 which is upgradable to the iOS 13.4.

It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, 3D Touch and also designed with an oleophobic coating to prevent scratches.
The iPhone XS Max continues to impress in the tradition of the iPhone’s camera quality with two main cameras and one selfie camera. The main cameras are both 12MP with Quad-led dual tone flash. Unsurprisingly, taking a video with this phone yields fantastic results as videos record in quality between 1080p and 2160p. The selfie camera is slightly lower in quality but also as powerful. It comes with a 7MP camera with SL 3D technology continuing from the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

Talking about battery performance, the battery life of the XS Max is amazing. With a Li-ion 3174mAH battery, the phone can give you up to 16 hours of talk time and 64 hours of music play. This promises to be a phone suitable for heavy duty work, gaming and also a reliable music player for those long road trips.
It also supports wireless charging. Charging time is equally as impressive as it can go from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes of charging. The only problem is that the XS Max does not come with a fast charger in the box and may cost about 4000 naira on Konga and Jumia.
In conclusion, the iPhone X Max is a considerable improvement on the X with the price the only major obstacle. It (to Apple’s credit) focuses on speed and efficient performance. It’s a significant expense if you are upgrading from any of its predecessors. A reliable alternative if the price is too scary is the iPhone XR but trust me this XS Max is really worth it.

About seven years ago, I met my future husband and he convinced me to switch to the phone company Sprint because they have better service and plans. I didn’t want to at first but the phone I had started messing up so I’m guessing that was a sign. I ended up making a switch from a cheap cricket phone to an iPhone. Ever since, I have been caught up with having the latest phone by apple. Now I have the newest iPhone XS Max made by them. It’s somewhat addicting for some reason, but most people I know usually talk down about having an apple phone. Now I’m trying to save up for an apple mac laptop. Not sure why people talk down about apple products, but I think you get what you pay for. It’s always android vs. apple anywhere I go, especially with family. I love my phone no matter what anybody says.
I use my phone essentially for everything. When I don’t know something or need help, I run to my phone. It’s like a mini computer with Wi-Fi, but not with a lot of space. I’m always researching stuff on the internet, on social media, taking videos or pictures, face timing, texting or calling someone, and using the calculator. Apps are my number one favorite, because you have social media and other things you may need.
I stay easily connected with family and friends too. People from high school that I keep in touch with that I barely see anymore, because we are in different areas or are schedules is a conflict. I don’t even use the alarm clock in my room because I use my phone for some weird reason, maybe because it’s more convenient since I’m always on it. I can use the same alarm for certain days, so I don’t have to set it up every night and worry not being able to wake up on time. In church during the sermon or if I’m busy doing something else, I let my children watch YouTube videos as well or play games to keep them quiet. I do not even watch the news on tv because I just read the news articles that come to my phone. I can just click on any news article that I’m interested in. In state of an emergency when you need to call the police. Even though they sometimes take forever to come to you. You don’t have to run all the way back home or run somewhere to get help. Just reach into your pockets or purse for your phone and dial 911 or some iPhone there’s an easier way to contact authorities without dialing the numbers. When I went to Mexico a few months ago, I downloaded an app that can convert united states money to pesos. It is very difficult when you don’t know how much to give to someone when they don’t speak much English. It helped, because when you travel somewhere foreign your phone can assist you a lot. There is also a translator app that I use at my job too, because we have patients that speak Spanish. Nobody at my work place knows Spanish that well. Not many people know how many different apps that are out there which can assist you. Anything you want to know you usually run to your computer, but with your phone you can do the same thing.
In my opinion, I think your phone can benefit in good and bad ways. One issue I had with my phone was not paying much attention to my husband. Coming home from work I would just be on my phone trying to catch up with everything on social media or playing games and say a very few words to my husband. We had a situation to where we would argue almost every day about me being on my phone too much and that I needed to show him more attention. I stopped being selfish and tended to him more coming home from work. I wasn’t looking at it from his point of view. My husband should come first than my phone. I still love my phone regardless and him of course. Family should be your priority no matter what, and nothing else should really get in the way. It taught me a lesson as well by not missing moments in your children life because they grow up so fast. Your phone makes life easier too because you don’t have to remember so many numbers, addresses for people you know. Back in the day I remember my grandmother, had a phone book that she would carry with her to remember someone’s number. A calendar is on your phone to remember birthdays and events that you plan to go to. I can also check my bank account and statements, to see what I have remaining or what to pay for. Lastly why my phone makes life easier is paying bills. A lot of business has their own app and a way you can pay bills online. Just by a couple clicks your bill is payed, and you don’t have to call anyone, go to a grocery store, or mail a bill. I don’t have to worry about buying stamps which is an extra expense when your phone can do the trick.
Time has changed for us to use more electronics than ever. I remember being a little girl not having a tablet or a phone and now I see little girls walking around with one which is irrational. I guess I’m in this new generation to where people are recording more than socializing. I’m not saying I have that problem now but that’s what most people are doing in this century. I love my phone very much, it’s one of my babies and I always make sure it stays charge because I do not like walking around with a dead phone. Just because anything could happen at any moment if I need to capture a beautiful moment, if someone calls me about an emergency or me having to contacting the police. Everyone needs a cellular phone.
